Great Project School
of Christian Drama
Great Project School of Christian Drama is a dedicated arm of Great Project Drama Ministry, established to train drama ministers in the art and ministry of Christian drama. Founded in 2007, the school has grown significantly over its 17 years of existence, with its first session held at Central Baptist Church in Benin City, welcoming 97 participants.
As the school expanded over the years, the need for a larger, residential venue arose. This led to its relocation to Baptist High School on TV Road, Benin City, where students could immerse themselves in their training. The school offers a variety of programs tailored to different aspects of Christian drama ministry. These include:
- Ordinary Certificate Course in Church Drama Ministry
- Advanced Certificate Course in Film Production
- Refreshers’ Class for ongoing development
- Children’s Drama Class for young talents
- Basic and Advanced Editing for post-production skills
The school has attracted participants from within and outside Nigeria, highlighting its reputation for excellence in Christian drama training.
Evangelist Osagie Ekhator serves as the Director of the school, bringing his vast experience and passion for drama ministry to guide and inspire the students. The school’s remarkable growth is largely attributed to the mentorship and guidance of Evangelist Yemi Adejoju, whose wisdom has been instrumental in shaping the direction and success of the ministry.
Great Project School of Christian Drama continues to equip drama ministers with the skills and spiritual insight needed to effectively minister through drama, ensuring that the gospel is presented powerfully through storytelling.
