Great Project Drama Ministry
is a church-based drama ministry at Central Baptist Church, Benin City.
Great Project Drama Ministry began its remarkable journey in Christian film production in 2006 at Central Baptist Church. The ministry’s first film, written by Osagie Ekhator and directed by Adeshola Zion, laid the foundation for its future works. This debut film, produced by the church, was only the beginning of a series of impactful productions that would follow in the years to come.
In 2007, Hidden Evil was released, followed by The Afflicted Ones in 2009, further establishing the ministry’s commitment to spreading the gospel through film. Over the years, the ministry produced several other notable works, including Heaven is Far, The Invisible One, and True Prosperity. Their creativity and passion culminated in several award-winning films such as Because of Me, Potiphar’s House, and Osasere, which resonated with audiences and touched countless lives.
The ministry’s productions span both English and Bini, allowing them to reach a diverse audience. In 2013, they expanded their influence beyond Nigeria with the production of Heartbeat, a film shot in Cameroon. This project marked the ministry’s growing vision to spread the gospel message internationally.
